Class Descriptions

Mommy & Me: Ages: 18 mos. – 2 1/2 years

Structured activity Classes that will develop Motor Skills through Rhythms, Games, Stretching, Obstacle Courses, and imagination, all set to music.

Creative Movement: Ages: 2 1/2– 3 years

This class explores dance through music and imagination through dance. Pre ballet level.

Preschool Combo: Ages: 3 – 4 years

Introduction to Classical Ballet and Tap. One half hour of each subject which is geared toward building a solid dance foundation. Explore dance and music in a fun atmosphere.

Kinder Dance Combos: Ages: 5 – 7 years

Following our Preschool Programs it is fun and exciting combo of all dance disciplines including an introduction to jazz. Technical development and musicality are the main focus in these classes. Students are brought to the next level.

The Saturday Kinder Dance Combo included an introduction to Gymnastics. Students at this age and level get to experience even more fun and fitness!

Beginner/Intermediate Classes: Ages: 8 to 11

Brand new class designed for the 8 – 11 year old. Giving them the opportunity to experience all disciplines of dance, accomplishing multiple dance skills in a ‘small’ amount of time, while having fun with their friends.

Teen Class: Ages: 11 + up

Offering Jazz, Tap and Ballet for the ‘late bloomer’ who wants to try dance for the first time or has limited dance experience.

Adult Classes:

Adult classes are scheduled upon request - Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pilates

All Boy Classes: Ages: 5 – 9 years

An offering of Tap & Hip Hop for the young man that have always wanted to dance.

Kinder Hip Hop: Ages: 5-6 years

A fun street style dance for the younger dancer. This is an introduction to Hip Hop.

Hip Hop:

A fun street-style class which teaches various video moves in a fun atmosphere, to the latest music.

Ballet/Pointe:

The foundation of all dance, ballet is highly recommended for the technical development of all dancers. Students will advance to Pointe only upon teacher recommendation, based on technical foundation.

Jazz:

Explores all styles of jazz dance. Class consists of Stretch and Strengthening during warm up, as well as dance combinations and progressions.

Lyrical:

Dance with expression while telling a story through emotion and strength. Participation in a lyrical class requires a strong ballet foundation. Lyrical classes are taken in conjunction with Ballet Classes.

Modern:

Abstract style of dance exploring different lines and creativity.

Tap:

Rhythmic style of dance develops counting and musicality through intricate foot work. Great Cardio Workout.
